Levoplant is a family company and has been growing strongly for the last few years. It is one of the top pot plant nurseries in the Netherlands. In 1969, Anneke and Leo van der Voort started with 7,000 m2. The company now comprises four different locations with a total surface area of 135,000 m2.
The managers of the company include Leo van der Voort, his son Léon and his sons-in-law Henry Duijvestijn and Ron Fransen.
Within the context of Levoplant’s operations, a great deal of attention has been paid to energy-efficiency measures via CHPs that provide electricity and also heat. In addition, heat and cold are stored in sources in the ground and the company uses 3 screens in order to create the perfect climate.
The most important crops are the Phalaenopsis and Cordyline australis.
